The Japanese Society of Systematic Zoology


The Japanese Society of Systematic Zoology (JSSZ), founded in 1950, is an association of biologists interested in taxonomy, systematics, and biodiversity of animals, extant or extinct. Since its founding, it has published peer-reviewed journals, including the English-language journal Species Diversity (open-access) and the Japanese-language journal Taxa, while conducting annual meetings and symposia.
